Your guide to Easter events in Oakleigh

Long weekends are a great opportunity to get out with the family and enjoy what the local area has to offer.

If you’re looking for something to do in Oakleigh over the Easter break we’ve got few ideas for you.


For the children

Get crafty with a children’s workshop at Bunnings in South Oakleigh over the Easter weekend. Learn to make an Easter bunny on Saturday, March 26 or an Easter basket on Monday, March 28. Workshops start at 11am. Free face painting is also available. Bunnings is at 1126 Centre Rd, South Oakleigh.

Roam the markets

A must-visit in Oakleigh, the Rotary Sunday Market is a trash and treasure delight with stalls selling everything from vintage books and pre-loved clothing to fresh produce and plants. The market runs every Sunday from 8am to 1pm at the Hanover St carpark (corner of Hanover St and Atherton Rd).
