An entertainment centre in Oakleigh gives people the chance to try new games, embrace family fun and get involved in team building.
Sidetracked offers a range of exciting activities including go karting, laser tag, ten pin bowling, dodgem cars, video games and mini golf.
The 68,000sq foot entertainment complex houses all of its activities under the one roof so is ideal for all weather conditions.
The centre is a great option for birthday parties, corporate events, bucks and hens nights, family celebrations and children’s parties.
Here is what Sidetracked offers:
Get behind the wheel and experience the g-forces as the karts grip the track when you find your racing line. Marshals pair drivers with the right go kart for their ability to ensure a safe and enjoyable time on the track. Go karting is available to teenagers and adults, and there is a rookie circuit for children aged 4 years and above.
Sidetracked offers Laserforce, one of the most advanced laser tag games in the world. Up to 40 players can participate in a single game, where participants operate with a suit and laser tag equipment. The objective of the game is to tag as many of the opposing players as possible, while seeking and destroying bases and targets within an allocated timeframe. The laser tag arena is fitted with flashing lights, smoke, music and sound effects to make for an exhilarating experience. Learn more about Laserforce laser tag here.
Ten pin bowling
Try your hand at Sidetracked’s Highway 66 ten pin bowling – eight lanes of mini ten pin bowling based on the famous trans-American route 66. The game is ideal for team building, children’s parties or a fun family activity. It’s the small ball game with huge appeal.
Gaming enthusiasts will be in their element at Sidetracked’s video game centre. There are a variety of games available to play including the classic Daytona car racing game, Dance Revolution and Slam Dunk basketball, among many others.
With a medieval themed 18-hole course, mini golf at Sidetracked features themes including the Merlins Chamber, The Wishing Well and Excalibur’s Sword. The course is designed to suit any age but don’t be fooled, it’s not as easy as it looks. Built-in deceptive optical illusions and effects will keep you on your toes.
For an old-school, carnival throwback go for the dodgem cars. Bump, turn and spin while chasing fellow drivers around the arena. The twin seat cars are suitable for drivers aged 7 years and older, including adults. Choose from a four-minute ride or the ultimate eight-minute double ride.
